Watch out for signs of mold. If the thing is any inexperienced mold, white fuzzy mold, or dim black spots (mildew) over the mushroom, will not try to eat it. Don’t fear if the thing is blue staining—This is often typical in Psilocybe mushrooms and an indicator that the mushrooms contain
